Nocona: Christmas in Nocona

December 7 at 1:30pm to December 8 at 1:30pm

Christmas in Nocona is when all the children put on the smiles and bring their wish list to Santa. Always the first Friday in December, this season it’s December 07, 2012, the Chamber of Commerce sponsored Santa’s Parade begins at 5:00pm. There are vendors in the park, on the streets and all of our local shops are open to welcome the ”Christmas/Holiday Season.” There will be drawings in the local shops as well as the annual drawings in the park for those well deserving residents of Nocona donated by the Chamber of Commerce. Don’t miss this beautiful time of year in Nocona, Texas.

In addition is the Fireman’s Annual Fund Raiser Fish Fry. No where can you find a better fish dinner for a more worthy cause!

Saturday is Cowboy Christmas Campfire at the Tales ‘n’ Trails Museum (10:30am to 1pm).  All you little buckaroos, grab your cowboy gear and bring your best-decorated stick pony (prize for best one!).  Join in the games, hear some cowboy stories and have a campfire cookout – all for only $5 a head.  Call the museum to reserve your spot around the campfire (825-5330)
