Sulphur Springs: Guided Night Hike

March 13 at 7:00pm to at 8:00pm

Come celebrate Daylight Savings Time and find out what lurks in the shadows of the night in the "bottoms" of Cooper Lake State Park?

When you look into the darkness of the night…do you ever wonder what lurks behind the darkness? Let’s find out as we take a night hike down Coyote Run Trail. We will hike about half a mile down the trail and spend some time looking at “spider eyes” and scorpions. If we are really quiet we may also have the opportunity to hear and hopefully see some of the wildlife that comes out at night. Meet at Coyote Run Trailhead. Bring water, a flashlight (preferably one that has a red lens), and your walking stick. NO PETS PLEASE. This program may be cancelled because of weather. Contact the Park Office (903) 945-5256 for updated information.
