The largest zoological experience in Texas keeps growing! Explore creatures from Down Under at the Koala Walkabout, home to the only koalas in Texas! The expansive, 11-acre Giants of the Savanna habitat is home to elephants, giraffes, lions, cheetahs, and much more. View 400+ species of wildlife throughout the Zoo, including African penguins, Asian otters, Western lowland gorillas, and a host of other exotic creatures. Feed the giraffes and the birds and don’t miss the Monorail Safari, Endangered Species Carousel, camel rides, and the Lacerte Family Children’s Zoo, which features interactive play activities and a splash stream for kids of all ages.

    *Closed Christmas day

  • Adults (age 12-64): $15,00, Children (age 3-11) and Seniors (ages 65 and older): $12.00, Children (age 2 and under) and Dallas Zoological Society Members: Free

    Parking is $8.00 per vehicle


Map & Directions

By Car: Exit Marsalis Avenue from I-35E. Go 1/8 mile on the north bound service road. Turn right at the giant giraffe statue marking the entrance to the Dallas Zoo’s Parking Lot.

By Dallas Area Rapid Transit:
Take the DART  RED LINE to the Dallas Zoo Station.
