
The East Texas Arboretum sits on more than 100 acres of native Texas land and includes formal gardens, historic buildings and a wooded nature area with more than 2 miles of naturalistic hiking trails. The Wofford House is a dog-trot style house built in 1950 and moved to the arboretum in 2001. It serves as a museum interpreting pioneer living.
